Hopefully this fixes the random "buzzing" from both of my Studio Displays.
Mine doesn't do that. I would return it ASAP while you still have some remaining warranty left.

I want to point out the shade thrown at the camera. The poor quality is one of my favorite features. I DO NOT want to be seen in 8k by my coworkers. I consider the low quality a feature. This display is one firmware update away from perfection.

I hope this fixes the camera once and for all. I just cannot understand why the camera is so bad when there is enough physical space to use a high quality one. Why not put an iPhone (or similar) camera in there? My 2015 5K iMac had a better camera (and speakers).

The ASD has good image quality with amazing resolution, but with the awful (and in my case, unusable) camera, light bleed in the corners (even if slight), the upsell for a height adjustable stand and so-so speakers for its size, it just remains one of Apple's underwhelming (and arguably over-priced) products.

The best feature of the ASD is its design and physical build quality (minus the pinched panels on most units causing slight light bleed at the corners - most likely a factory line issue). While the white balance is better than the 5K iMacs (literally the worst I've ever seen), it could still be better for a high-end display.

They should've thrown an M1 and WiFi in them, bumped the starting price up a bit and sold it as a 27" (non-pro) iMac. There'd still be room in the lineup for an iMac Pro (in Midnight or Space Gray) with an M2+ and a 30" display.
