Apple Pay Users Can Get 10% Off Purchases in Under Armour App This Week

The latest Apple Pay promotion offers 10 percent off Under Armour purchases.

The 10 percent offer will automatically be applied in the Under Armour app at checkout with the use of ‌Apple Pay‌ through January 31, 2019 in the United States, according to Apple. The offer is not valid at Under Armour retail stores.

I wonder if this is driven by apple or under armour? I could see apple doing this to try and spread the use of Apple Pay. I’m not sure why under armour would sponsor this sale and limit it to a certain pay method though.
I’m guessing Apple is paying for the companies to sponsor this to get users to try Apple Pay
