Video Review: Moshi's iGlaze iPhone Cases Are Sturdy Without Adding Too Much Bulk

by

In our latest video review, we went hands-on with two iPhone cases from Moshi, a well-known accessory maker that develops cases, cables, screen protectors, and more for Apple's line of iOS devices.

Moshi's iGlaze Armour and iGlaze Napa, two of the cases we looked at, are available for both the iPhone 6/6s and the iPhone 6/6s Plus. The iGlaze Armour, with its aluminum backplate, is solid and sturdy without adding too much bulk to the iPhone. It offers a good amount of protection, with rubber sides to add padding in case an iPhone is dropped.

The iGlaze Napa features a design that's similar to the iGlaze Armour, but with a vegan leather backing in a variety of colors. It isn't built quite the same way, but it's just as sturdy.

The iPhone cases in the video are available for purchase from the Moshi website. The iGlaze Armour for the iPhone 6s is priced at $39.99, while the 6s Plus version is available for $44.99. The iGlaze Napa for the iPhone 6s is priced at $44.95 and the iPhone 6s Plus version is $49.95.

Note: Moshi provided an iGlaze Napa and an iGlaze Armour to MacRumors free of charge for the purposes of this review. No other compensation was received.

sigh, why do manufacturers insist on putting the hole for the Apple logo. It ruins the design.

I agree. I call it the Apple Glory Hole, and I dislike cases with it.

I was simply saying that Apple don't have the dilemma that 3rd party manufacturers have (between having an apple logo vs not having a hole), so the user comparing it to Apple cases wasn't fair. Don't bite my head off
Sorry mate! Didn't mean to "bite anyone's head off". Even though quoting your post my answer wasn't really directed towards you but more or less towards the whole "round hole in back of a case" trend. Subjectively, I believe it's sure way of ruining the aesthetics of any otherwise nice looking case.

Give it a few weeks, Moshi isn't partially known for quality.
Hi there - so sorry to hear about your less-than-stellar experience with our case. We've actually updated the case construction to mitigate the TPU-splitting issue after we noticed it in one of our earliest product batches. We're more than happy to replace the case - please send us an email at support@moshi.com and our customer service team can help you out.
