We were told a week or two ago on this very site not to buy any MBPs. It was a whole article.

I’ll do my part and continue to not buy one!

I’m probably alone in this, but I wish they made a 16 inch with the base M5 chip.

I’d love to have that bigger screen, but I do not need a pro chip or the huge cost bump that comes with it.

If they made an Air larger than 15 inches I would buy that in a heartbeat.
I too would like to see a 16" with a normal M series chip. Don't want the power of Pro chip but would like to have ProMotion. Probably $500 lower than the current 16" pricing, just like how there is a $500 difference between the 14" Pro with base M5 chip and one with M5 Pro chip.

Apple sells a so-called Pro machine with 0.5TB of storage. In 2026, that is humiliating for anybody.
The imagery doesn't exactly help either.

Technically, they don’t. Current tense. Retailers are working through stock of models with that storage amount, but Apple officially removed them for sale this last March.
