Apple CEO Tim Cook Gives Trump a Gift Made of Pure Gold
Apple CEO Tim Cook visited the White House on Wednesday to announce that his company will be investing an additional $100 billion in the U.S. over the next four years, raising its total commitment to $600 billion over that period.

Apple is also working with its suppliers to accelerate manufacturing in the U.S. through its new American Manufacturing Program.
While at the White House, Cook provided U.S. President Donald Trump with a custom gift that consists of a circular glass plaque with a 24-karat pure gold base.
The plaque has an Apple logo cut out of the center, and it is engraved with the following text:
PRESIDENT DONALD J. TRUMP
APPLE AMERICAN MANUFACTURING PROGRAM

MADE IN USA

Cook said the glass was manufactured by Corning in Kentucky, and the 24-karat gold base was sourced from Utah. He said the plaque was designed by a former U.S. Marine who now works at Apple, and he called it a one-of-a-kind gift.
You can watch Cook gift the plaque to Trump at the 3:25 mark in the video below:
