The very few people who bought the Gen1 HW can now dust off their devices ;l

Yes, I know: That revolutionary Apple Vision Pro is Apple's first spatial computer.

I still don't get most use cases and the battery life is abysmal.

The device still looks like a prototype that shouldn't have been released (or only released to developers).

Maybe I will try it again by Gen4 or Gen5 in 2030+ and at a retail price under $1000.
This article and thread are about a new app that is in beta for Vision Pro. Not sure why you’re rehashing complaints expressed at launch over a year ago.

Oh yes... Sitting in my room, in my dark corner, wearing my scuba mask to look at pictures all by myself is my favorite past time. Never mind showing anyone my private stash anymore unless they own their own scuba mask.
It is your free choice to do it or not to do it. You also are free "Mocking the morons" (citation from your signature), if you like to waste your precious time with it. It is all up to you. Just remember: Do not waste your life with things, you do not want to do. Just do the things, you really like.

Tried the "spatial video" on different headset and it really sucked. To me it's just a marketing gimmick.
So on a lower res device that Apple doesn't sell, Apple's Spatial Video sucks? Shocker. Let us know when you have tried it on the device Apple sells, the AVP. You might still think it sucks, but I don't. Looks promising to me.

Have you never used AVP or why do you sound ignorant?

Does the new app include your own content or is it all curated from Apple?
I thought it was just from Apple but one article I read made it unclear.
I’m super excited about this! Many thanks for the beta testers! ??
As there are "not professional" pictures in that gallery, I suppose, there might be an opportunity to submit your own content. There is no option to submit content (yet) as far, as I see.
