Nomad Debuts New Rocky Point Band for Apple Watch Ultra

Nomad today announced the launch of its latest Apple Watch accessory, the Rocky Point Band. The Rocky Point Band was created with the Apple Watch Ultra in mind, and it has a rugged look that matches well with Apple's watch for outdoor enthusiasts.

According to Nomad, the Rocky Point Band is made from "ultra-touch, compression-molded FKM" fluoroelastomer rubber, and it is equipped with grade 2 lightweight titanium hardware to match the Apple Watch Ultra. The company used metal injection molding titanium to create the components for the band.

The design includes ventilation grooves for breathability, and it is entirely waterproof. While designed for the Apple Watch Ultra and Ultra 2, it is also compatible with all Apple Watch models.

Nomad is offering the Rocky Point Band in Storm, Sol, and Atlantic shades, and it can be purchased from the Nomad website for $80.

It might be worth what the knock-off counterfeiters will charge.

I dig this, it looks really good. Of course there are thousands of cheapo bands on Amazon and Temu etc., but I'm glad to see some companies competing in the premium end of the market, with more refined design & quality materials.

I'd love to pay Nomad premium price for this, because I like the look at lot. That's said the pin side is 95mm long which mean the buckle will sit right in the middle of my wrist, which mean the titanium hardware (and especially the metal watch strap keeper) will not be laptop friendly at all.
I have a metal band which I can't use when I work on laptop and it's fine, it's a band for the weekend. I would consider this band as a daily "do-it-all" so sadly it's a deal breaker for me.
Also overall, 95mm on the pin side is still a bit too short for me. 100 or 105mm is a better bit and keep the well centered on my wrist instead of having drift away from me

Nomad bands are Way to skinny for apple watch ultra, I've got one of their so called apple watch ultra specific bands, and it looks like my watch skipped leg day at the gym, ban still in the box, never used it. Their bands have exactly the same width as the normal apple watch, so before you buy, go to an apple store and fit one of the apple watch sports bands on your apple watch ultra and see how ridiculous it looks. Waste of money!
