As highlighted by Apple in a press release earlier today, this is the fourth year in a row that the ‌Apple Card‌, issued by Goldman Sachs, has earned the top spot in J.D. Power's 2024 U.S. Credit Card Satisfaction Study. The study measures overall customer satisfaction by assessing performance across several categories, including Account Management, Customer Service, and New Account Experience.

The ‌Apple Card‌ was first introduced in 2019 and is deeply integrated into the Wallet app on the iPhone, allowing users to track their spending in real time, categorize transactions, and set up payment plans. The ‌Apple Card‌ also offers up to three percent Daily Cash on purchases, which can be used instantly or saved for future expenses. With ‌Apple Card‌ Family, users can share an ‌Apple Card‌ account with other members of their Family Sharing group. The ‌Apple Card‌ also features an integrated a Savings account option, providing users with the ability to automatically deposit their Daily Cash rewards into the account.

It was cool when it came out in 2019 but today it's been outclassed by so many other cards with better rewards like Fidelity 2%, amex gold and plat, etc.

$250 per year, but I get all of that back in credits from different services I use (Uber, dining, etc). Therefore, it costs me $0 out of pocket each year. I also end up getting around $1000 back in rewards each year. The 4x points they offer on dining and supermarkets is really nice. The Apple Card seems like a pretty good card as well, I'm definitely not knocking it.
Feeding the dog with its own tail are we?
Trust me: Whatever cash back, rewards and other perks you get is money you payed somehow already. Minus whatever profit the credit card company is making.

That whole system is crazy. Imagine a system where the electronic transactions were nearly free and you only had to pay for the operational cost of the transactions (which is minuscule). It’s possible. We have it in Denmark, but it’s under serious pressure from the banking world and credit card industry that are pushing their cards.

Edit: a transaction with the national non-profit card costs around $0.4. A transaction with Mastercard is around $2.

Only thing it lacks are the good supplemental insurances available with the free AMEX cards.

We don’t use our Apple Card for buying any big ticket items (including apple products) that can benefit from warranty extension and supplemental coverages.

Also my retired mom (debt free and good retirement income stream) has had a devil of a time getting a reasonable credit limit. She can’t use her apple card much because high utilization would hurt her fico score.
