The M1 iPad Air is on sale at Walmart for $399. I think the upgrades are worth the $100 price difference (faster performance, laminated display with better colors and antireflective coating, double the ram, 2nd gen Apple Pencil support, Magic Keyboard support)

Now that's a price I can get behind. I have an iPad 9 and would like to get rid of my Lightning cables.

Maybe that ship has already sailed, but I wish tech websites were explicit when anything is US-only.

All that would have been needed was to throw the "US" in there:
"Apple's 10th generation 64GB Wi-Fi iPad has hit a new all-time low price today on Amazon US."

It would otherwise have been reasonable to think Amazon is discounting iPads in other countries as well (Looks like they aren't).

According to Semrush.com, less than half of MacRumors visitors are in the US.

64gb is really something around 30gb real free space to use after ipadOS 17 is fully installed.
Without proper file management the 64gb version becomes unusable very quickly.
Not true. I have the 64 gb iPad and I had 50ish gb remaining after OS space.

It's a nice price, but it's also a THREE YEAR OLD model. That means three fewer years of support in the long run. This is still a pass for me.
It is current equipment and was released in 2022. I think you may be confused.

This has my attention. I may finally be "over" the need for headphone jack and home button. :) I really like the landscape orientation of the front-facing camera and stereo speakers. It just might be time. ?
It was time? Just got back from Best Buy... good trade-in values for my 256GB 5th gen iPad Mini and 64GB 9th gen. Price-matched Amazon. Ended up with a 64GB silver 10th gen and white smart folio for $10 out of pocket total. Simple and easy.
