Is one of the reasons why I don’t trade in my devices. Trade in values are sucky

My Ultra went from $390 trade in to $365? What a joke.
Their trade in values have been ridiculous for a long time now. And the one time I tried it, it was an enormous hassle. There’s almost always something better to do with it than give it back to Apple.

With the recent iOS update, my iPhone SE 2022 doubles up as a space heater, so it's definitely worth at least $20 more than before the iOS update.

Apple’s trade-in values are ridiculous. The most I can get for my 2021 M1 Max MBP 16” fully loaded, even with 8TB SSD is apparently $1445. By the time I upgrade, I’d rather use it as a serving tray than give it back to them.
