$80? Is that even realistic?

Hell, it's still $370 here in Canada!

This kind of inventory clearance pricing seems like a pretty good indication that new toys are on the way.

I really wanted this keyboard but could never justify the £300 price tag.

Enough time has passed that I now couldn’t justify a £200 price tag either.

It’s hugely over priced for a keyboard. A travel-friendly bluetooth keyboard is the way to go.
It depends. I have it for the 12.9 inch Pro, and I’ve used it since May 2020. I’m going to replace it on Black Friday this year and it‘s the only thing that allows me to turn my iPad into a laptop replacement. I never use the Macbook Pro. The cheaper keyboard didn’t do the job, and anything third party Bluetooth lags and drains power. It’s expensive, but I use it every day for hours whereas it would sit if I didn’t hav eit.

IMO $179 seems like it should be the default price for this, $299 is quite expensive.

I tried a bunch of cheap iPad keyboards and thought they were all junk, and then I tried the Magic Keyboard and it was exactly what I wanted. It's one item that I would pay full price for to replace if I had to do it tomorrow.
