If you're buying a MacBook Pro with 8GB of RAM, be ready for a painful experience. If you think you don't need more than 8GB, buy a MacBook Air and save a lot of money.

For the same $1,399, I'd rather buy a 14 inch Macbook Pro M2 Pro 16/512 from Costco.

They're clearing out remaing inventory, so YMMV on your store having it in stock. Best to call your store and ask if they have item # 1601622 in stock.

As someone who bought into the whole "Apples 8gb is the same as PC 16gb" and now regrets it, Apple cheaping out like this really makes them look bad in this consumers mind. I will think twice about another Apple laptop next time I'm sure for an upgrade. Come on Apple, public perception is as important as profit margins.
