I gave these a try and they’re awful. Apple went the opposite direction of what people typically think of Beats and rather than a fun bassy pair of headphones, they made them neutral. Neutral is fine, but if you don’t include a way to EQ them, they’re a waste of money. These are the opposite of fun headphones now.
if they are studio headphones they should be neutral, though I do agree that studio, neutral and beats are incompatible words :).

These have a condensation issue similar to the AirPods Max FYI… I had them replaced after using them for a couple weeks because of a hiss from the left ear cup with noise cancellation or transparency on… the Apple Store replaced them (5-day depot process) and the very next day the issue was back! All I did was fall asleep with them on

For something in the neighborhood of that price, I'd get the Sony WH-1000XM4 ($264.99 ('https://www.walmart.com/ip/Sony-WH-1000XM4-Wireless-Noise-Canceling-Over-the-Ear-Headphones-with-Google-Assistant-Black/310157752')) instead.

There's also an open box deal for $242.00 ('https://www.adorama.com/us1718921.html').

Take another $249.90 off, and I might consider it. Haha, just kidding. I would throw these headphones away if a pair were ever gifted to me...but then again that would never happen be because my friends have taste. ?
