Stardew Valley lets players improve upon an abandoned, overgrown plot of land, turning it into a thriving farm with crops, animals, and goods that generate money. Players can form relationships with the townspeople, solving villager quests and attending seasonal festivals.

There are caves to explore for resources, and monsters that drop treasure. Other features include dating events, fishing, clothing and hats to unlock, pets, and more. The ‌Apple Arcade‌ version of the game includes all of the content from recent updates.

Several other ‌Apple Arcade‌ games are getting new content today, with updates for MasterChef, SpongeBob: Patty Pursuit, Squiggle Drop, Illustrated, and Garden Tails.

‌Apple Arcade‌ is priced at $4.99 per month, and all members of a family sharing group can access ‌Apple Arcade‌ content at that price. ‌Apple Arcade‌ has more than 100 titles to play, none of which include any add-on purchases.

Existing games that are released under Apple Arcade all have "+" added to them. The difference would be no ads, no in-app purchases, no daily limits, etc. This makes the experience more pleasant. Other than that, the games are exactly the same.

In a rare case, the Arcade app actually has reduced features -- the Chess.com app. There is no legitimate reason for this, so that's sort of a scam. I don't know if there are others like this.
Stardew Valley has never had ads, or in-app limits. It's always been a one-and-done purchase with free upgrades.

I play little to almost no video games, but this one is fun. Never played it on iOS, though.

Can't wait for Leisure Suit Larry to be available, graphics are about the same quality.
Uh, what?

Are you really crapping on the game based on the graphics? AND comparing Stardew Valley to a game from 1987?

You probably don't even pay for Apple Arcade, why should you care anyways? People find anything to complain nowadays, sigh.

What makes it "Stardew Valley+"? Sounds like the same game to me (which is a fantastic game by the way, anyone looking for a relaxing life/farming simulator should try it).

What an awful response. How can you judge a game by its graphics? Stardew Valley’s graphics have a lot of charm to them, much so than that screenshot.

And that dev whose widely well-regarded product you are mocking has had more success from this game than you will in ten lifetimes. Chew on that.
