The M8 houses a 4K UHD flat LCD panel providing 400 nits of brightness, a 60Hz refresh rate, HDR support, and adaptive picture technology that automatically adjusts display brightness and color temperature for viewing comfort. The M8 chassis is 11.4mm thin, which is 0.1mm thinner than Apple's iMac, and it includes a flat back, thin bezels, and a height adjustable stand with tilt functionality.

Cannot recommend this monitor. I purchased it nearly a year ago and the original one arrived DOA and Samsung refused to replace it. Instead, they wanted to repair it. After several exchanges they finally agreed to replace it and the replacement camera/microphone doesn't work correctly. Their support is the absolute worst I have ever experienced. It is 100% outsource vendors who have no idea how the product works and their entire script is designed to frustrate users to the point where they won't do warranty service. To repair the camera, they expected me to ship (at my expense) the entire monitor to them. They would then take up to 10 days to diagnose and then let me know if it was under warranty. Last Samsung product I will ever own.
