Samsung today kicked off a special "Discover Samsung" event, which will be a week-long savings event focusing on Samsung monitors, smartphones, TVs, appliances, and more. While some deals will stick around the entire week (through March 26), others will refresh every day.

The highlight of the new sale is Samsung's 32-inch Smart Monitor M8 for $449.99 in Warm White, down from $699.99. Samsung's Smart Monitor M8 has a design very similar to the new 24-inch iMacs, and it uses USB-C charging connectivity and includes AirPlay support.

Cannot recommend this monitor. I purchased it nearly a year ago and the original one arrived DOA and Samsung refused to replace it. Instead, they wanted to repair it. After several exchanges they finally agreed to replace it and the replacement camera/microphone doesn't work correctly. Their support is the absolute worst I have ever experienced. It is 100% outsource vendors who have no idea how the product works and their entire script is designed to frustrate users to the point where they won't do warranty service. To repair the camera, they expected me to ship (at my expense) the entire monitor to them. They would then take up to 10 days to diagnose and then let me know if it was under warranty. Last Samsung product I will ever own.
