If Apple cares so much about privacy and not having their users be tracked, why aren’t they implementing individual cookie jars?

I hope the current safari in Ventura has a boatload of fixes. Cause the current version on Monterey is a complete disaster. Tabs... can't move em between safari windows. Results in duplicated greyed out tabs. Man... been like this for weeks and multiple people have reported this.

This is what already happen in private mode, but this is not what you want in standard mode: cookies are needed to remember a bunch of things to make a better experience when you visit a website again, for example remembering your preferred language or your preferred settings on that website.
I think some web sites like to think they are servicing consumers by presenting that illusion, in actually they are data mining the consumer. I never forget one individual that was upset that his web cache was emptied to mitigate a browsing issue and he complained that all these sites he shopped at had to be signed into again. In todays world you have no idea how many companies are tracking you. Just open MacRumors after managing/clear web data in settings and see how many companies cookies/cache/data pop up just from this site as one example. You are being totally used in normal/standard mode.

Curious, what’s the difference between Safari technology preview and Safari beta?
It is billed as a stand alone Safari for previewing the newest web technologies by Apple that can run separate from the Safari you have on a a recent MacOS.

The Safari beta is part of the existing dev beta, public beta, or invited seed program, releases paired with a given MacOS beta release. Frequently the technology preview build is the same build number as the lastest beta. For Ventura RC it is now running 16.1 (Version 16.1 (18614.2.9.1.10).
