Each to their own, but I suffered through this, and have to say it was dreadful. The writing was poor and the plotting made little sense. Save yourself, by not watching it.
Funny... To me it was one of the best TV shows I've ever watched.

You are wasting natural resources (to manufacture this e-waste), physical space on shelf, time (no disc ever plays instantly, skipping/searching also takes longer and if you have a large library, you also have to find the disc first) and also money.
I am not wasting anything as I am using them, shelf space is a non issue here and I take my time enjoying things.

I can also watch them without an internet connection, I can find them pretty easily as I am organized, it probably takes the same time scrolling in a huge library (may be few seconds later....but really??) and money, well renting vs buying, let's just say so far I am pretty happy with owning things.

Many people are wasting much more resources changing phone every years and seems like a non issue there, why should be considered wasting owning something and using it for the long run?

How many times you recon you can watch these series (and A LOT more other content) over and over again in 7 months (they don't need to be consecutive)?
If you had kids you'd know they can watch the same movie / cartoon a million times so your argument is shortsighted.

I'm sorry - physical media is an absolute lunacy in current age of abundant online content and ultra-fast unlimited internet (ok, unless you live in a 3rd world country).
Ultra fast internet ..... well not every 1st world country have fast internet speed everywhere, but as I said, there are time when I do not have access to internet and still want to see some movies.

Also I like to see my movie withou censorship,or as little as possible, with streaming they can cut and remove parts that they find offensive (disney and such are already doing it) they definetly cannot crop movies on my DVD / Bluray.

Also the fact that I like / Use physical media does not mean I do not use streaming services as well, it's not either or.

I simply love choices!

People still have optical disc players? I can’t imagine watching 480p content in 2021 🤷‍♂️
I know it's hard to believe, but Blu Ray goes up to 4k....
