Apple Fitness+ Outage Makes Some Workouts Unavailable [Update: Fixed]

The Apple Fitness+ service and app is experiencing an outage that has made some workouts unavailable at the current time.

apple fitnss plus broken
The Fitness app on iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV is currently not listing Core, Strength, HIIT, or Yoga workouts in the top navigation menu, and attempting to access one of these workouts leads to an error message.

"Unable to access Apple Fitness+ content at this time," the app reads when trying to start an affected workout.

On Twitter, Apple Support said that Apple is aware of a "potential issue" and is logging/tracking information affiliated with the Apple Fitness features, so presumably a fix is in the works.

Update: It appears Apple has fixed the issue and the Apple Fitness+ outage is over.

Folks, I just talked to a Senior Advisor. They assured me that this is not an issue. They talk to millions of Apple Fitness+ users every hour and not a single one has reported this issue. Additionally, they assured me that all issues immediately appear on the Apple System Status page and that page shows no issue with Apple Fitness+. If you're having difficulty accessing the service, you'll need to erase and re-install the FitnessOS. To do that, you'll plug your device into iTunes and initiate the FitnessOS restore through iTunes. Once you've installed a fresh copy of FitnessOS, do not restore Apple Fitness+ from a backup. This must be done before Apple will provide any additional support. Once you've done that, if the issue persists, they'll escalate it to Engineering after conducting Sysdiagnose, with Mail logging enabled just to be safe. Engineering will reply within 48 hrs, with Apple's official position on the matter being to keep your devices up to date.

I used to go there once in a while (maybe once every six months).
Then, by mistake, I checked the nutritional facts. I am still under shock. A nuclear reactor would be less caloric.
If you don't indulge there won't be any reason to exercise! You wouldn't want THAT, would ya?? :)

People are too obsessed with their bodies so a break every now and then is good.
Not sure I can say that in Texas people are obsessed with their bodies to be honest. Certainly most are NOT obsessed with fitness, and it shows. Sadly.
