What's the point in buying an Intel Mac if you get more performance and battery life with a cheaper and brand new Mac (M1).
Ports and software support. For a software developer like me, this is a deal-breaker.
No 2 screens, cannot run Docker, Android Studio is very slow and emulator does not work, Eclipse does not start...

For an average user, M1 switch is a dream though.
