To start, you can get a 2018 refurbished 13-inch ‌MacBook Air‌ (1.6GHz, 256GB) for $719.00, down from an original price of $1,199.00. Apple's 2020 ‌MacBook Air‌ has a new scissor switch keyboard and enhanced processors and graphics, but this is a solid deal for anyone willing to save money on an older model.

The 11-inch and 12.9-inch 2018 ‌iPad Pro‌ models are also further discounted on Apple's refurbished site. The 11-inch ‌iPad Pro‌ (64GB, Wi-Fi) is available for $549.00, down from $699.00, while the 12.9-inch (64GB, Wi-Fi) is available for $699.00, down from $899.00.

All refurbished iPad models come with a new battery, new outer shell, free delivery and returns, and are backed by a one-year warranty. They've been tested, cleaned, and repackaged in a brand new box with all accessories and cables.

For Macs, Apple promises that each model has been fully tested and cleaned, and they include genuine Apple part replacements if necessary. iMacs and MacBooks also include one-year warranties, and brand new boxes with the necessary accessories and cables.

I would caution MacBook Air purchasers. The new keyboard on the 2020 MacBook Air is worth the price premium alone.

So tempted, even with 64gb...but I really want to learn more about the new iPad.
What can we truly do with Lidar?
Is wifi 6 a big deal?
Is the 12xz much faster than 12x?
And of course...amount of RAM
I went for it. I only use 40GB right now on my current iPad and have plenty of iCloud storage. The extra $600 (after tax with an Apple Pencil Gen 2 + AppleCare) just isn't worth it in my mind...
Differences being:
64 GB vs 128 GB
No U1 Chip vs U1 Chip
4 GB RAM vs 6 GB RAM
Single Camera vs Multi Cam & Lidar
A12X vs A12Z
802.11ac vs Wifi 6

Looks like a lot of minor improvements that I can't justify...

Also... with the CAD $ being so garbage, we actually get some good prices on these. It's $699 USD which is $1019 CAD whereas the store lists it for $899 CAD.

Do refurbished iPad / iPhones comes with a new display too?
I didn’t read far enough into this thread if someone answered your question, but yes, they do come with a new display (Unless the original display tested perfect/showEd no signs of damage/wear). The battery sometimes is replaced, but has to test at a threshold of 80%.

Yeah, on the Apple Canada refurb store, the 64 WiFi iPad Pro dropped significantly. Too bad it's only 64 GB though.

They did raise the base price a bit for the new models, but at least the new models now come with 128 GB, which is perfect for me. Hopefully it also comes with 6 GB RAM.
