I think it's not ethical to link with MacBook Pro 13 sales, with its faulty keyboard. The problem was created by Apple in a first place, however anyone who's mentioning 13` without mentioning its keyboard issues are acting dishonestly.

Please redact the post to include warning about the uncomfortable and faulty keyboard with wrong shape arrow keys and lack of esc key.

I think this is a tactic by Apple so you buy the product from them at a premium price. The lower models are mass-market and aren't as profitable as the upgraded models which Apple overcharges for (additional RAM, larger SSDs etc).

I imagine many retailers are worried about getting stuck with a lot of the butterfly keyboard models, given that Apple is due to update the 13” and everyone expects the next model to include the non-sucky keyboard. So there’ll probably be even better sales soon...

This exact story seems to be getting posted about once a week. It event draws out the same commenters making the same comments.

I've always considered 16GB the floor for RAM for any computer. I recently gave my wife an 8GB MBA. It runs fine for everything she does, but her needs are pretty basic. 8GB is more capable than most people realize.
