Apple's "Other Products" category, which includes AirPods, Apple TV, Apple Watch, iPod touch, HomePod, Beats products, and Apple-branded and third-party accessories brought in an impressive $4.2 billion during the fourth fiscal quarter of 2018, representing a 31 percent increase in revenue.

Apple does not break down the specific sales numbers of products in the "Other" category, which makes it difficult to determine specific sales numbers for products like the HomePod, AirPods, and the Apple Watch, but Cook says its wearables category set a September quarter revenue record with growth over 50 percent.

Much of Apple's "Other Products" growth can likely be attributed to the Apple Watch Series 4, which came out in September.

Cook said the Apple Watch Series 4 has become even more essential to people's daily lives, and response to the new model has been "overwhelmingly positive."

Cook highlighted new ECG capabilities coming to the Apple Watch Series 4 in the United States later this year, which he described as an "unprecedented and potentially life changing feature."

The Apple Watch Series 4 is excellent. The larger display and speed is incredible. This is also my wife's first Apple Watch and she uses it all the time now and hardly ever takes it off. She loves the walkie talkie, fitness tracking, and weather.

The Series 4 is the first non-annoying Apple Watch, meaning that all apps load within 2 to 3 seconds at most. It’s a huge leap forward over the Series 2 I had with regard to speed.

You wear AirPods.

Apple Watch is not only the top selling smart watch in the world, it’s the top selling watch in the world and has been the top selling watxh in the world for over a year. It is now 50% higher then that

I love how the article title implies "wearables" are responsible for the growth, given that half the products are not worn. The Apple Watch may well be responsible for the growth here, but I'm skeptical. I've seen a much greater adoption of AirPods than I have watches, though they have been proliferating too. All things considered, the growth may have been at 50%, but then so was Apple's entire earnings up overall. The share the Others category occupies has not changed much since the Watch was introduced. It's still under 10%, hovering around the mid-point.
