New Apple Watch Series 2 Ad Encourages Users to 'Live Bright'

Apple today shared an all-new commercial focusing on the Apple Watch Series 2, in which the company encourages its users to "live bright" with the help of various features that its wearable provides. These include the new water resistance of Apple Watch Series 2, activity tracking, and the meditation reminders of Breathe.

The new spot aligns with Apple's recent pivoting of the Apple Watch from a fashion accessory to a health and fitness tool. The ad also features the Beyoncé song "Freedom."

Yesterday Apple shared another collection of Twitter-based iPad Pro commercials, in which the company references real Tweets complaining about technology to highlight various features of the iPad. The newest ads focused on the light weight of the iPad, the advantages it brings to students in school, and its all-day battery life.

Gotta be honest, I don't understand the constant front page articles about new advertising. We come to this forum for apple news, rumors, and discussion, not to provide free advertising for the company. I get it if a certain ad is notable and generating actual headlines (the 1984 ad would have certainly qualified) but this is getting a *little* ridiculous, no?

I think this is rad. The constant shadowing of the characters reminds me of the old iPod commercials.

great commercial - if i was a misinformed shopper i'd buy an apple watch for working out.

But we all know there are far more accurate GPS options with longer battery life and tracking of sports metrics - Garmin, SUUNTO, Polar, etc.
I workout almost daily. Variety of strength training, running, cycling and swimming. I've used my Apple Watch through multiple long distance runs and triathlons.

The Apple Watch is an excellent option that will only get better. Eventually all these dedicated fitness watches will go the way of standalone GPS devices.

I remember when Apple ads used to be about........wait for it..............................computers.
I mean, technically the Watch is a computer. And when you think about the internals and what they've managed to build in terms of an actual computer in that tiny device, it's pretty remarkable.
