Apple Seeds First Beta of tvOS 9.2.1 to Developers

Apple today provided developers with the first beta of an upcoming 9.2.1 update to tvOS, the operating system designed to run on the fourth-generation Apple TV. tvOS 9.2.1 is a minor update that comes two weeks after the launch of tvOS 9.2, a significant update that introduced a range of features from Bluetooth keyboard support and dictation to Siri search for the App Store and app folders.

tvOS betas are more difficult to install than beta updates for iOS and OS X. Installing the tvOS beta requires the Apple TV to be connected to a computer with a USB-C to USB-A cable, with the software downloaded and installed via iTunes or Apple Configurator.

As a minor 9.x.x update, tvOS 9.2.1 likely focuses on bug fixes and performance updates to address issues discovered since the release of tvOS 9.2. Any new changes found in the tvOS 9.2.1 update will be listed below.

AirPlay and Home Sharing have never been worse for me than on my current fully-updated AppleTV 4s (both of them). Having to restart them and my iMac each time I want to home share or send AirPlay from the Mac to them is annoying.

I've had every version of AppleTV since they came out and it's never been this bad. Not sure if this is a widespread problem but I welcome any update in hopes that it can be fixed for me.
FWIW I haven't seen it on either of mine. In fact I have never experienced better and more reliable Airplay functionality than I have right now. I have had every AppleTV since the white ones.

Let's see if they fixed the screwed AC3 pass through being removed. Also the random stutter even after the movie is fully loaded into ATV.
