iOS 27 to Change How You Customize Your iPhone Home Screen
If you regularly spend time reshuffling your iPhone's Home screen, you'll likely welcome a couple of new options reportedly coming in iOS 27.

According to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, Apple's next major software update will add Undo and Redo buttons to the Home Screen customization menu. Long-press the screen, and alongside the existing Add Widget, Customize, Edit Wallpaper, and Edit Pages options, you'll get two new arrows that let you roll back or reinstate your changes with a tap.
In the same report, Gurman said Apple's WWDC 2026 graphic offers a hint of the revamped Siri interface coming in iOS 27. Trigger Siri, and the Dynamic Island will reportedly show a "Search or Ask" prompt with a glowing cursor, similar to the way the "26" is highlighted in Apple's WWDC artwork. A thin glow will also wrap the edges of the Dynamic Island, and the same treatment will appear in the search bar of a dedicated Siri app preinstalled in iOS 27.
WWDC runs June 8 through June 12, during which Apple will preview iOS 27's new features and changes. The update typically arrives in September with Apple's new iPhone models.
