Apple will add a vapor chamber cooling system to the iPad Pro as soon as next year, according to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman.
Writing in his latest Power On newsletter, Gurman says an iPhone 17 Pro-style vapor chamber is something Apple has been working to bring to the ultra-thin iPad Pro, and it could debut in the next model, which is expected to arrive in spring of 2027.
Apple overhauled the thermal design of the iPhone 17 Pro models to include a vapor chamber cooling system, where a small amount of deionized water moves heat away from the A19 Pro chip and distributes it throughout the iPhone's aluminum unibody frame. Apple says the design allows for 40 percent better sustained performance for demanding tasks.
The next generation iPad Pro model will likely feature Apple's M6 chip made with TSMC's 2-nanometer process. The liquid cooling system would help mitigate throttling, especially as the iPad Pro becomes more capable at handling intense workflows.
Apple is now selling M4 iPad Pro models in its online store for refurbished products, allowing customers to purchase like-new models at a discounted price.
There are both ">11-inch and 13-inch options available, in multiple storage configurations. Apple is offering Wi-Fi and Cellular refurbished models, and silver and black color options.

Apple has tested an updated iPhone keyboard with autocorrect enhancements, according to a report this week from Bloomberg's Mark Gurman.
The report said the keyboard "expands autocorrect by offering alternative words," similar to tools like Grammarly. "It suggests alternative words in addition to word fixes like today's autocorrect," said Gurman, in a follow-up social media post....

Was expecting the next iPad Pro only in 2027. With M6 launching this year most probably, the iPad Pro won’t be the first device with the new chip. Addition of vapor chamber is good but currently not facing any thermal issues with my M4 iPad Pro except when using Pencil with the Notes app for some time.
