Two iPhone 18 Pro Features Revealed in New Report
South Korean publication ETNews today reported that the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max will use under-screen infrared technology from Samsung, which would pave the way for under-screen Face ID on the devices.

Under-screen Face ID for the iPhone 18 Pro models has been mentioned by several sources in the Apple rumor scene, so it sounds like it is finally happening. However, rumors are conflicting about how this change might impact the Dynamic Island.
The report also said the devices will adopt so-called LTPO+ display technology, which would be more power efficient than the current LTPO technology in the iPhone 17 series. This upgrade should contribute to longer battery life.
Apple is expected to unveil the iPhone 18 Pro models in September. Other rumored features for the devices include an A20 Pro chip, variable aperture, a simplified Camera Control button, web browsing via satellite, and more.
