I decided I'm switching to another wireless in-ear brand when I replace my APP2; I've heard too many bad things about the APP3 (poor fit and static). My Sony over-ears do multi-device switching almost as well as AirPods but the Apple advantage means nothing when iOS and MacOS are buggy, contain un-deletable bloatware, and are constantly worsened with each new release. I feel it's not an "ecosystem" worth being stuck in anymore.

I'd love to buy the AirPods Max but 1) $449 is not as good as the $399 Black Friday Amazon sale and 2) I'd rather wait until Apple actually gives them feature parity with the AirPods Pro and makes them worth buying.

I don't think I could resist these at $299 IF-- and only if-- they brought back the Black color way.

Hey, Siri, I just bought some AirPods Pro 2, should I throw them in a landfill to get the new AirPods Pro 3? Thank you for your attention to this matter.
