I picked up the Anker Solix C2000 Gen 2 for $679.15 during their Black Friday sales, so this current "sale" isn't as good as it could be.

These Jackery prices aren’t great IMO.

Last month I got the HomePower3000 + one solar panel for $999. This is the size that qualifies for the 30% tax credit so net price of $700.

Correct. At least in the case of Anker (I don't follow Jackery prices), their "list" prices have always been pretty much fiction; the units usually sell far below those prices. Anker sells through Amazon (in addition to directly), so it is quite easy to examine the price history. In the case of the unit you bought, the C2000 Gen 2, the product did sell at list ($1,499!) for a short time back in October, but for most of the past 90 days, the price has ranged from $679 to $799, and as of this writing (Jan 6) is currently $719.10. You got a good deal indeed.

It’s always a red flag to me when a company is constantly running sales throughout the year on almost every single holiday where they are discounting their products by huge amounts, like 20-50%.

Makes you wonder if those products were actually worth their full MSRP to begin with.
