It's now down to $849.99, so this article is already outdated twice in one day. $866.03 to $855.04 to $849.99. If you wait another few hours, you may be able to snag one for $800. ? ?

Surprised these aren’t on the Apple Refurb store yet, its been a year and most Apple devices show up on there within 6-9 months after release.
I read on this site a couple years ago that iPads are unique in that Apple doesn't release refurbished versions of the current models. So you (and I) will have to wait for M5 iPPs to get these on refurb. This is a pretty good sale, though, even compared to an edu discount (if you qualify for that).
