I would love to be able to bring home one of those 13" iPad Pro with the nano-texture screen. But holy crap the price is high. I like the functionality and the screen of the iPad Pro, but I think the iPad Air would be the way to go for me.

I hope they bring the nano option to the lower tiers with M5.

The iPad Pro is significantly more expensive than the MacBook Air. While it’s a powerful device, most users don’t fully utilize its processing capabilities the way MacBook users do. Unlike the MacBook, which caters to a broad range of users, the iPad Pro tends to appeal to a more niche audience. If it could run even a hybrid version of macOS, it might attract a wider user base. For those who simply want an iPad alongside their MacBook, a standard iPad or iPad Air is often a more practical choice. Originally intended to bridge the gap between the iPhone and MacBook, the iPad still feels more like a larger iPhone than a true middle ground.
I would even be fine buying Apple's super overpriced keyboard cover if it was required for a "macOS mode".
