As a Apple + Sonos loaded household, I'll preface what is about to be dozens of posts about "the disaster" of the new app, trust completely obliterated, no speakers work at all, firstborn made ill, water pipes burst, car won't start now, etc ;) by once again pointing out that we Mac people don't even have to open the new app to use Sonos speakers:

* Airplay works as it always did
* Mac app is still the same Mac app
* Home kit control remains the same
* Home theater Sonos hooked to a TV basically has AppleTV or the TV doing the controlling
* Etc.

I happen to have no issue at all with the new app myself but others do. However, I can easily go months without opening the app and never miss the many ways I use & enjoy them. I suspect most about to bash away could probably not open the app for at least weeks at a time too.

Now on with the (usual) show... 🍿

You know who makes good speakers? Klipsch. We have been using them for decades. They're just speakers. Nothing fancy but of the highest quality.

You’re completely right. While I do think there was (still is to a more minor degree) a number of serious issues caused by the app redesign several months back, I don’t usually interact with it at all in my all Apple household. And in that light, Sonos is still the best wireless sound system on the market and the one best suited for any Apple aficionado. The speakers themselves remain absolutely fantastic.
