wait for thunderbolt 5! My speculation is OWC is clearing stock for the TB5 goodies that are coming in 2H 2024!
In that case I look forward to replacing this $99 TB4 dock with a $99 TB5 dock in three or four years!

Are you sure about the point re: port to connect to the Mac being on the front? I'm thinking of maybe getting one, and this would be a huge annoyance.

Based on the pics of this on the OWC website, this doesn't seem to be the case? The 2 TB3 ports are on the back (incl. the one to the right, which has the picture of the computer, which I assume is the one you connect to your Mac). The USB-C port on the front just seems to be the normal USB 3.1 Gen 2 USB-C port? (Not even TB3?)
