Apple's next Apple Watch Activity Challenge is set to kick off on Monday, January 1, with Apple Watch users able to earn an award by closing all three rings for seven days in a row in January.
Let's go for it in 2024. Earn this award by closing all three rings for seven days in a row in January.
Apple Watch owners will need to fulfill their stand, exercise, and move goals for seven days sequentially at any time during the month of January to get the New Year's award.
As with all of Apple's Activity Challenges, the New Year challenge will be accompanied by an award that can be viewed in the Fitness app as well as a series of animated stickers that can be used in the Messages app.
Apple has hosted a New Year challenge for many years running now, and it is one of many Activity Challenges that the company offers throughout the year to encourage people to meet their Fitness goals.

Strange that they still use a donut with sprinkles... isn't that counterproductive? Or maybe it's their way of showing how you burn calories and fat with exercise..
I like the transparency on the wheels of the bike.. it's neat.
Thank God ios 17 restored my dog walking red ring sticker (and the others form the set) from the January 2021 challenge... 😩 since that year when I upgraded my iphone it dissappeared, and then on my new SE watch.. it was bothering my OCD for so long...
If they were showing you burning calories and fat with exercise, the doughnut would be on fire. (In all honesty, that would be a far more interesting image.)
Thanks. I used to have a bunch of those but the entire section seems to be gone. Strange.
This glitch seems to have been around for a long time. No clear fix but it couldn't hurt to restart both the phone and the paired watch. Maybe then give it a day or two and it might magically reappear.
FWIW I did this on New Year's Day because it seemed like some activity data was missing, the restarts seemed to fix it. Also I have to restart after crossing time zones otherwise things don't look right in the app.
