MagSafe battery pack also charges AirPods Pro 2 case.

The battery pack will not charge iPhone 14 Pro Max to 100%. For example, it will charge it from 10% to ~65%

The official Apple Magsafe battery charger is garbage. For less, I highly recommend the MagSafe packs from Anker. They give you 1.5 charges, they offer a stand, pass-through charging and they are very reliable. The Apple item is a terrible "deal" even at this price.

That battery pack will get you a whole extra 30 minutes of battery life. While competing, much larger batteries are 1/5th the price. Quite the “deal”
I mean it's a little better than that; but yeah. It's definitely an example of Apple having a very non-competitive product.

I have the Anker battery pack. It charges via USB-C and can completely recharge my iPhone from nearly dead. I can also pop it on in the morning if I'm traveling and doing stuff and don't know when I'll be near a charger again, and at the end of the day my phone is still at 100%. It's a really handy accessory for significantly less than the Apple product, with the only advantage of the Apple product being the second magnet so that it doesn't 'spin' on the back of the phone. Plus the USB-C port works in both directions so you can charge other devices from it and use it like a standard USB battery pack.

I'm a fully self-aware Apple fanboy but the iPhone magnetic battery goes alongside the Magic Mouse as "Seriously, Apple?" category.
