AirPods Max in Silver Now Available to Ship on Verizon [Update: Sold Out]

As we continue to track AirPods Max stock at various retailers, this week the sole notable restock has appeared on Verizon. At the cellular carrier, you can get the Silver AirPods Max for $549.00. Verizon supports a free two-day shipping option, and as of writing only Silver is in stock to ship today.

In weeks past, we've seen Silver and Space Gray routinely appear in stock at places like Verizon, Amazon, and B&H Photo. The other three colors have been tougher to find in stock in February, but Sky Blue did appear in stock alongside Silver and Space Gray earlier this month.

We've been keeping track of ‌‌AirPods Max‌‌ stock at third-party retailers because the headphones still have shipping estimates delayed as far as April on Apple's website. If you're interested in getting the over-ear headphones as soon as possible, one of these retailers will be your best bet for the foreseeable future.

‌AirPods Max‌‌ feature Active Noise Cancellation technology and the same Transparency mode, Adaptive EQ, and spatial audio features that are in the AirPods Pro. If you're hunting for even more AirPods deals, we track sales for every model of the ‌AirPods‌ in our Best AirPods Deals guide.

Update: The ‌AirPods Max‌ in Silver have now sold out.

Depands on how many they made. :-) Supply and Demand law.
What you posted makes zero sense. The problem is that at some point in your life you heard about this thing called supply and demand, but never really bothered to understand what it means.

The law of supply and demand states that at higher prices buyers will purchase less of an item, while sellers are willing to provide more of that item. You're trying to establish that they are sold out because few are being manufactured (not because people love them), which is the exact opposite.

Even if it's true (it isn't), that would have nothing to do with the law of supply and demand.

I just love all the people here STILL harping on the price and weight of these cans. The fact that they are still selling out is proof positive that MacRumors members represent an extremely tiny fraction of Apple's customers and this forum has zero influence on the general consumer's purchasing decisions.

I would even extend your argument to say these aren't even worth $300.

You can buy a pair of Bose or Sony headphones that are just as good for $200.
Airpods aren't worth the price to you. Seems they are worth the price to others though, based on their overall availability or lack thereof.

100% agreed. I haven’t heard the sound quality but I don’t think £550 (which is $220 more than the US price. I would pay £400 for these) is justified. Maybe these ones cost more now to make slightly cheaper ones they may release down the line more palatable.
This is something that the Mac vs PC arguments do too. You need to take into consideration the entire product. Build quality, ease of use, cool features and more.

I had a Sennheiser PXC 550 that I purchased 5 years ago. I have so many devices that DAILY, I need to clear out the Bluetooth pairing list and reconnect the devices as I use them. And sometimes, it would connect to two devices at a time. So I would need to log in to EVERY device to see which is the second one and disconnect it from Bluetooth otherwise when I got an email/notification, that second device would take over.

I got these headphones and all those issues have went away. Its connecting to one source at a time, and it does a pretty good job at automatically picking the right source. And I do not need to constantly clear out the pairing list like I did with my Sennheiser.

Oh and BTW, those Sennheiser headphones were $400 at the time I purchased them (with tax). So about $200 less. I would gladly take these just ease of use and other enhancements to the product for $200. I have had to replace the ear pieces a few times on the Sennheiser, and it was an absolute pain to do. This is another bonus with the Apple AirPods Max is that it is ridiculously easy to replace the ear pieces since they are magnetic.
