Deals: Get a $15 Target Gift Card When You Purchase a $100 iTunes Gift Card

Target this week is offering its shoppers a chance to get a $15 Target gift card when they buy a $100 App Store and iTunes e-gift card. This sale will last through Saturday, May 9, and only one gift card can be purchased per guest.

While this isn't a straight cash discount on the iTunes gift card, it should be worth it for any Target shoppers who have been running low on iTunes credit, given that it's been a while since we've seen the typical 15 percent sale on these gift cards.

For those interested, head to Target and add the $100 App Store and iTunes gift card to your cart. Once at the checkout screen, Target will automatically apply the $15 gift card promotion to your transaction.

Once you've placed the order, you'll receive a few emails (within four hours): one detailing the code for your iTunes gift card and one for your promotional $15 Target gift card information. As with most Target orders, if you have a RedCard you can also save an additional 5 percent on the iTunes gift card.

Thanks for the heads up! Great timing because it has indeed been awhile since the last $85 eBay deal. I was getting dangerously close to paying the App Store 100 cents on the dollar, which is sheer madness!

Oddly enough, redcard only gets you an additional $4.25 off the card, not $5. Not sure why, it says "5% discount". Still an excellent deal, I always top up my iTunes account when these come around, as it gets me stuff like Disney+, Apple Music and arcade for a discount.

Wait I figured it out. You're getting 5% off $85, presumably because of the $15 gift card you get.
Yeah the way target charges things with target gift card promos is you pay for each separately and the target gift card doesn’t get red card discount (for some reason) So you’re paying $15 for the target gift card and $85 (or $80.75 with red card) for the $100 iTunes card.

Bought 2. It'll cover a year of HBO Max. And with the Red Card is dropped the price another 5 percent. So basically the equivalent of a 20 percent off sale, which is rare nowadays.
I think that 15% is about the highest "discount offer" for iTunes cards these days, especially the promo that eBay/PayPal does a couple times a year.

20% discount.... I think I saw that once.... maybe 4 or 5 years ago?

Apple themselves ran a pretty good promo recently which was (if I remember correctly) 15% off however much you topped off your iTunes balance -- and if you used Apple Card to pay for it, you got to stack 3% off on top of that.
Apple's promo was 10%. Otherwise I would have jumped on it instead of waiting for eBay to do 15% again.

If you have the RedCard, this works out to about a 16.75% discount considering you're paying $95.75 for a $115 value.
