As expected, Apple today opened a new 10,287 square-foot store in the Fairview Mall in Toronto, Canada. The updated store is located next to the former location, but it is nearly twice the size.

The new retail location is the third Apple Store in Toronto with Apple's modern retail design elements, which include large rotating glass doors, a Forum and video wall for Today at Apple sessions, and wooden shelves along the walls for accessories.
With the store opening, Apple is now offering Today at Apple sessions that customers can sign up for either on the store's website or through the Apple Store app.

Apple has been working on revamping its chain of retail stores with updated designs since 2015. Just a few months ago, Apple opened another Toronto store located at the Eaton Centre.

Toronto is Toronto.
GTA = Greater Toronto area. The GTA, for the most part are fully connected by major streets, HWY and transit (during regular business hours, some 24/7 - Toronto does the rest of GTA does not). living here for over 40yrs I loathe people jumping this all into the 'one is the same' when it really is not: our mayors are very different as well as the fiscal budgets for each city.
Ideally, one mega central location would/could have worked in the past ... Bloor/Yonge being close to the easiest publicly commutable location for a central spot. Eaton Centre of course has the highest tourist attraction thus the best for potential sales and revenue.
Sharway Gardens needs a complete overhaul, though I'm not sure if that site gets as much traffic as say Yorkdale Mall does - considering it's remake and the entire area there becoming less of a subsized housing area just south of the mall into one of the sweetest looking townhouse and condo projects in the GTA.
Square One Mall in Mississauga needs a revamp as well - then again so does that mall ... seems to be in a constant flux of stop n go. Having Go Transit hub there made it a bit more complex but I love that area. I still recall how the Marilyn Monroe towers was a HUGE barren grass land area back in 2002!
I don't recall any Apple Store out east of Toronto/Scarborough.
FYI food for thought ... GTA does not equal The Six (which includes a borough not commonly thought of as part of the GTA), hence why I'm very adamant of GTA = Toronto. IMHO they're not.
