Mattress Startup Casper Now Accepts Apple Pay on the Web

Casper has announced it now accepts Apple Pay on the web through Safari on both its desktop website on Mac and mobile website on iPhone and iPad.

Casper is a New York-based startup that sells an award-winning foam mattress exclusively through its website. The online retailer's product lineup also includes a pillow, sheets, foundation, and dog bed, available in the United States, Canada, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom.

Apple Pay on the web is a convenient and secure option for online payments, eliminating the need to repeatedly fill out account, shipping, and billing information for a more seamless checkout experience. Compatible devices include iPhone 6 and later, iPad Pro, iPad Air 2, and iPad mini 3 and later running iOS 10 or above.

Apple Pay on the web is a new Safari feature on iOS 10 and macOS Sierra, expanding upon in-store and in-app payments. The feature started rolling out in September on websites such as Staples, easyJet, Indiegogo, StubHub, and Wayfair, with other committed partners to follow.

I've heard this company advertised a lot on podcasts and things. Has anybody here actually used one? I've considered getting one in the next year as our mattress is starting to get a little old and I'd like to preserve it for a guest room. We usually like our mattresses a little on the softer side, but I like having firm edges so I don't feel like I'm going to roll off.
I've had one for a couple years and love it. My wife wasn't fond of it at first. She said it was too firm for her. I called them about it and they sent us a mattress pad free of charge. The company is great. They have a trial period for their mattresses so you can try it out for 100 nights and if you don't like you'll get your money back. They'll send people to pick the mattress up and it'll be donated to a local charity.

Edge support is something you give up when you go with a foam mattress. Well, I should say GOOD edge support.

Personally, I just received a Brooklyn Bedding mattress a few days ago. Freaking LOVE it. Edge support is clearly worse than my innerspring mattress, but it isn't awful. I highly recommend the mattress...I did literally weeks of research and out of all the bed-in-a-box companies, I found that they use the highest quality internal materials (latex/foam density).

To each his own though. Everyone likes different beds and the awesome thing about these online companies is the super long trial periods they offer.

That's awesome! I hear (via YouTube reviews) Purple makes a significantly better mattress, though.
I found LA Mattress online and saw that they had a great reputation as well. They offer a 120 day comfort guarantee and free delivery in Los Angeles. I checked them outh and purchased a bed. I love my new bed from LA Mattress. If you are looking for a new bed I bought the best mattress from Los Angeles Mattress Stores ('http://www.mattressstoreslosangeles.com').

We slept on one a few months ago at my sister-in-laws. I was excited to try it out since we were in the market for a new mattress ourselves. While I only got a couple of nights sleep on it, I really didn't like it at all. Personally I felt it was a bit too soft and it seemed like my hips would sink in more than the rest of my body. I also tend to be a very hot sleeper and the mattress held on to a lot of body heat.

If you live in a location with a West Elm ('http://www.westelm.com/customer-service/store-locator.html') store... they have Casper mattresses in their showroom for you to try out in person.
Yeah I'll have to try one out the next time I'm in KC or STL.

Yes. It was the worst 2 weeks of my life. They are extremely comfortable to lay on, but an entire nights sleep was so bad for my back. They say there is up to a 90 day adjustment period, but who can wait that out?!

It was my first time trying trying these types of matresses. I like a very firm bed, and I actually think these sink too much. I'm light too, 5'11" 155.

the return process was easy though. I wanted to love the bed...my body didn't.
Yeah, back problems run in my family. Most of the men in my family got them pretty young in their 20s or 30s. Back in 2007 (about a month after I joined MacRumors, lol) I hurt my back in a whitewater kayaking incident trying to free myself while trapped under the water drowning. I was successful, but my back was not so lucky.
