Growing threads in our forums and the Apple Discussion Forums are pointing to what may be an issue with the plastic casing of some iPhone 3Gs.

The majority of the reports revolve around the white 16 GB model; however, a few users of the black model have reported cracks in their casings as well. See the gallery below for a sample of images from our forum:

Someone makes a new thread for a subject that already has its own thread, other people get mad.

Someone searches for and finds a thread about the subject they want to post, other people get mad.

I really don't get it.

What was contributed by the poster that dug up a 7 month old (not being posted) thread that is 3.5 years old? Stupid resurrection of a widely known issue.
