How to Build a Hardware USB Raid (Level 1)

Luis Aynat contacted us recently to inform us that he has just placed a page on-line that explains how to build a hardware USB Raid (level 1) for you Mac from a few easy-to-get parts. Raid level 1 is a mirroring system in which the same data is written to two separate hard drives that, in this case, do not have to be identical in capacity. His goal was to add storage capacity to his iMac and iBook, while removing the need to spend great lenghts of time backing up his machines' data. Quite a useful project indeed.
